MathCounts is a competition for middle school students run by the National Society of Professional Engineers.  As the coordinator for the DuKane Chapter competition, I'm asking for anyone with time available to come out and join me in administering and scoring the exams at this year's event on February 4th at Wheaton Christian Grammar School in Winfield.  We have around 210 total students registered for this year's competition.  Volunteers wishing to assist with proctoring the exams should…See More

Our group will be working on the house at 1018 South Pearl Street in Aurora. The home is owned by a retired couple. The husband is a retired veteran of the Vietnam war as well as a retiree from Caterpillar. He was a very handy individual, but can no longer make repairs as he is getting older and is suffering from his exposure to agent orange and has lifelong lung problems.
